Design Challenge
Building A Simple User-Friendly Website For A Children’s Home Investment Within Weeks, From A Large Content To 2 Page Responsive Website And Mobile Application.
About The Client:
In the 1970s, growing up on a council estate as one of the few black children in Louis town presented its own set of challenges. At 15, he left home and school to escape a violent stepfather and faced academic struggles due to dyslexia. In his 40s, he was diagnosed with Adult ADHD. Despite these obstacles, he found success in international politics, property investing, and business. He developed a survival strategy early on, turning life's challenges into personal rocket fuel. Today, this approach forms the foundation of his one-to-one work, helping mentees unlock their potential by turning struggles into strengths and pain into power.
Aim of Project:
The aim of the project is to establish a business focused on creating and supporting the development of children's homes, through a three-month Mastermind Programme. This initiative is designed to empower individuals with the knowledge and resources needed to create and manage effective children's homes, improving better outcomes for children in need.
Background on the UK Residential Children's Care Sector:
The UK's children's residential care sector is currently facing substantial challenges, which in turn, create important investment opportunities. It is estimated that around 6,000 children are in need of placement in safe and supportive environments.

Final Takeaways:
This project, undertaken under a tight deadline, helped me realise my ability to create a quick and thoughtful design. The resulting interface not only met the client's satisfaction for his personal website, but also contributed to the potential success of his new business journey.
